What is NOYPAA?

NOYPAA is a committee formed in accordance within Alchoholics Anonymous’ twelve traditions and service concepts in order to organize and unify young people in AA across northeastern Ohio. As an autonomous entity from AA groups and other organizations within Alcoholics Anonymous, NOYPAA was established in keeping with our primary purpose in mind – to carry the message to the alcoholic who still suffers.

As the first tradition states, “personal recovery depends on AA unity,” NOYPAA attemtps to enhance the lives of the members of the committee and the communities they serve by adding that valuable personal growth that comes as the result of doing service work. NOYPAA allows itself to be accessed by any member of Alcoholics Anonymous as a voting party in order to sustain the conscience of the group at all levels.

The committee’s actions are strictly governed by the conscience of the group, and all who hold positions within the committee are but trusted servants. We welcome you and hope that you join us on the road of happy destiny!
