NE Ohio Young People in AA; Cleveland, Akron, Canton & Surrounding Areas

There are a couple of reasons that we will not be meeting this Saturday.

1. It’s Easter. Happy Easter to those of you who celebrate it. To those of you who don’t, Happy April 10th.

2. We’re going to OYPAA!

That’s right, the entire crew is going to be in Columbus this weekend for OYPAA 2009. We’re going down in full force since we’re bidding for OYPAA 2010 to come to NE Ohio. Holla. We’ll let you know how it goes and thanks to everyone who has supported us so far!

We’ll be back in action on April 26th at the Chipotle off Transportation Blvd in the Garfield Heights Area. We kick things off at 1 pm. Come hang out with us. And if you’re not doing anything this weekend, come visit us in Dublin, OH for OYPAA!

Road Trip Alert!

OYPAA is having a Halloween Bash and Costume Party in Columbus, OH.

Date: October 31, 2008

Time: Speaker at 8, Dancing to follow until midnight.

Location: Maple Grove United Methodist Church; 7 W. Henderson Rd. Columbus, OH 43214

Cost: $5 suggested donation (if you have a costume, it’s $1 off)

Raffle prizes, best costume contest and lots of sober fun.

The next NOYPAA committee meeting will be held on October 18 (Saturday) at noon at the Starbucks on Rt. 82 (near 42) in Strongsville. The Starbucks is in the Target plaza on 82. Be there or be square!

Thanks to everyone who attended our October 4th event! We were very happy to see so many people there supporting NOYPAA and we loved that a couple members of the OYPAA host committee were also able to join us.

Now it’s time for us to get ready for the November 1st dance. Pick out your costumes now and stay tuned while we post more details soon!

The Next NOYPAA Committee Meeting will be on Sunday, September 14, 2008 at 12 noon. The meeting will be held at the Arabica Coffee House, 11300 Juniper Rd, Cleveland, OH 44106. The coffee house is located in University Circle.

Anyone who is interested in learning more about NOYPAA or wants to join the committee is welcome to attend.
